IA used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Hamar 93-86 on Friday night. It was an exceptional evening for Irish-British guard Lucien Christofis (188-1996) who led the winners and scored 32 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. American power forward Jalen Dupree (205-1998, college: Tennessee St.) accounted for 24 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side. Spanish point guard Jose Medina (185-1993) came up with 32 points and 7 assists and the former international center Ragnar Nathanaelsson (220-1991) added 20 points and 15 rebounds respectively for Hamar in the defeat. Four Hamar players scored in double figures. Hamar's coach Halldor Thorsson rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. IA will meet Selfoss (#4) on the road in the next round.
