Regular Season Round 1: Ourense - Gipuzkoa 62-68

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Ourense at the home court. Hosts were defeated by Gipuzkoa 68-62. American guard Justin Jaworski (190-1999, college: Lafayette) stepped up and scored 17 points and 4 assists for the winners and Croatian power forward Mario Delas (207-1990) chipped in 9 points and 6 rebounds. At the losing side American point guard Chaz Williams (175-1991, college: UMass, agency: Helping Ballers) responded with 8 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and American-Kittitian swingman Shaun Willett (193-1996, college: Queens, NC) scored 16 points. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Gipuzkoa will play against Castello in Castellon in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Ourense will play on the road against Estudiantes in Madrid to get more than just one victory in their record.
