Regular Season Round 2: Helios Suns - Terme Olimia 101-97

No shocking result in a game when Helios Suns beat Terme Olimia in Domzale 101-97. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. It looked good early as Terme Olimia took a 3-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Helios Suns had a 34-22 second period charge getting the lead and Terme Olimia was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 97-101. Helios Suns players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Terme Olimia was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The former international Tadej Ferme (187-1991, agency: PEPI SPORT) scored 24 points and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Croatian power forward Lovro Buljevic (211-1998) chipped in 18 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. The former international guard Sandi Cebular (194-1986) responded with 26 points and 4 assists and naturalized Bosnian forward Simo Atanackovic (207-1990) scored 22 points and 6 rebounds. Five Helios Suns and four Terme Olimia players scored in double figures. Terme Olimia's coach Davor Brecko rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Helios Suns will play against LTH Castings in Skofja Loka in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Terme Olimia will play at home against Hopsi Polzela to get more than just one victory in their record.
