There was no surprise when Almozara was defeated at home by Sol Girones 82-65 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was Jaume Sole (195-1991) who scored 20 points and 6 rebounds. Swingman Isaac Valera (191-1992) chipped in 14 points and 9 rebounds. Center Victor Alijarde (200-1997) produced 13 points and 9 rebounds and Venezuelan center Wilmer Peraza (194-1990) added 9 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Almozara's coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win.
