Regular Season Round 3: Inter Bratislava - Prievidza 65-50

Inter Bratislava used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Prievidza 65-50 on Saturday night. Inter Bratislava dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Prievidza's 26. They outrebounded Prievidza 42-30 including a 35-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for Lithuanian center Tomas Zdanavicius (203-1996) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds. Point guard Martin Koller (186-2004) helped adding 10 points and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was American forward Kellon Taylor (198-1998, college: McNeese St., agency: Players Group) with 16 points and 7 rebounds and Serbian forward Aleksandar Ilic (197-1995) scored 4 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Prievidza's coach Krunoslav Krajnovic rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Inter Bratislava will meet Lucenec (#7) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Prievidza will play against Komarno and hope to win that game.
