Regular Season Round 2: Betanzos - La Flecha 81-73

Betanzos defeated La Flecha at home 81-73. Betanzos forced 19 La Flecha turnovers. La Flecha was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Center Marcos Rozas (202-1983) notched a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds to lead the effort and point guard Jorge Abelleira (180-1997) supported him with 13 points, 6 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals. Four Betanzos players scored in double figures. Even 33 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds by guard Millan Lopez (185-1994) did not help to save the game for La Flecha. Forward Pablo Cendon (192-1995) added 12 points and 10 rebounds for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. La Flecha will play next round against strong La Leonesa trying to get back on the winning streak. Betanzos will try to continue on its current victory against Chantada on the road.
