Regular Season Round 4: Challans - Tarbes-Lourdes 81-77

There was a minor upset when one of their biggest challengers Lourdes-Tarbes (2-2) lost on the road to eleventh ranked Vendee Challans (2-2) 81-77 on Tuesday. The winners were led by Bahamas forward Radshad Davis (195-1996, college: FIU) who scored that evening 16 points and 6 rebounds and naturalized American forward Marc Gosselin (201-1996, college: WCU) supported him with 12 points and 5 rebounds. Even 25 points and 9 rebounds by American Devante Wallace (196-1992, college: High Point, agency: BIG) did not help to save the game for Lourdes-Tarbes. Point guard Remi Lesca (180-1990) added 10 points and 6 assists for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Vendee Challans moved-up to fifth place in Group A, which they share with 6 other teams including defeated Lourdes-Tarbes. Vendee Challans will meet higher ranked Rueil (#4) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Lourdes-Tarbes will play against Loon-Plage and hope to secure a win.
