Regular Season Round 4: Nymburk - Usti n/Labem 83-69

The game had a very big importance for third-ranked Nymburk as it allowed them to take a leadership position after previous leader's (Decin) loss. Nymburk defeated bottom-ranked Usti n/Labem at home 83-69. Nymburk players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American swingman Eric Lockett (196-1995, college: NC State) who helped to win the game recording 9 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists and international forward Martin Kriz (200-1993) who added 12 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Lockett is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Nymburk players scored in double figures. Nymburk's coach Roberts Stelmahers used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American guard Kris Martin (193-1997, college: Colorado St.) responded with 21 points and 6 rebounds and his fellow American import point guard Jordan Callahan (184-1990, college: Tulane, agency: Helping Ballers) scored 14 points and 7 assists. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with 4 other teams. Usti n/Labem at the other side still closes the standings with four games lost. They share the position with Olomoucko. Usti n/Labem will play next round against Hradec Kralove trying to get back on the winning streak. Nymburk will try to continue on its current victory against fifth ranked Kolin at home.
