Regular Season Round 4: Chomutov - Slovanka MB 88-69

Chomutov can celebrate their first win this season after three consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Slovanka MB (0-2) 88-69 on Friday. Chomutov made 17-of-19 free shots (89.5 percent) during the game. They also forced 23 Slovanka MB turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of international forward Michaela Krejzova (184-1998) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 9 rebounds and American forward Najai Pollard (180-1997, college: Delaware St.) who added 22 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side Bosnian point guard Dragana Domuzin (174-2000) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds and American forward Destiny Campbell (185, college: ECU) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds. Four Slovanka MB players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Chomutov (1-3) left bottom position moving up to seventh place, which they share with Loko Trutnov. Loser Slovanka MB still closes the standings with two games lost. Chomutov will meet league's second-placed Sokol HK in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Slovanka MB will play against USK Praha (#3) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
