Regular Season Round 3: Desio - Palermo 95-81

There was a surprise result when Desio (1-2) defeated at home Palermo (1-2) 95-81 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was point guard Carlo Fumagalli (193-1996, agency: Players Group) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points, 9 rebounds and 10 assists. Point guard Mattia Molteni (191-1996) chipped in 28 points. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Francesco Morciano (200-1996, agency: SLN) who recorded a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds and Dario Masciarelli (195-1998) added 15 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Five Desio and four Palermo players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Desio will meet at home Brianza Casa (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Palermo will play against Vicenza (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
