Another interesting game for Stuttgart (4-1) which played on the court of 3rd placed Mannheim (3-2). Fourth ranked Stuttgart had an easy win 84-72. It was a key game for the second position in South-West. Stuttgart forced 25 Mannheim turnovers. Strangely Mannheim outrebounded Stuttgart 47-31 including a 36-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. Greek guard Vassilis Lampropoulos (196-1990) stepped up and scored 29 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and center Quentin Kunst (198-2000) chipped in 12 points and 8 rebounds.
