Regular Season Round 6: BAC - Svendborg 65-81

There was a small surprise in Aarhus where ninth ranked Svendborg (2-3) defeated 6th ranked BAC (2-3) 81-65. Svendborg forced 25 BAC turnovers. It was a good game for American guard Devin Whitfield (196, college: LMU) who led his team to a victory with 23 points and 6 rebounds. Bahamas forward Kentwan Smith (203-1991, college: Stetson) contributed with 14 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. American center Keane Thomann (211-1989, college: MSSU) replied with 29 points and 8 rebounds (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field) and guard Marius Kirkholt (193-1997) added 4 points, 11 rebounds and 14 assists in the effort for BAC. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Svendborg moved-up to seventh place, which they share with defeated BAC. Svendborg will play against Copenhagen (#8) at home in the next round. BAC will play against Randers and hopes to get back on the winning track.
