Very predictable result when seventh ranked Hagen BG (3-3) rolled over at home 13th ranked Aachen (1-5) 89-67 on Friday. Hagen BG dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Aachen's 28. American forward Nieja Jordan (203, college: FMU) notched 25 points, 6 rebounds and 4 blocks to lead the effort and Lithuanian forward Vytautas Nedzinskas (196-1987) supported him with 7 points, 11 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. Even 27 points and 5 rebounds by swingman Tim Schoenborn (193-1990) did not help to save the game for Aachen. Swingman Max Boldt (192-1991) added 8 points and 5 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Hagen BG moved-up to fifth place in West, which they share with 6 other teams. Newly promoted Aachen keeps the thirteenth position with five games lost. They share it with Koeln DTV.
