Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both ninth ranked Alfinden and 10th ranked Mataro Parc had identical 1-2 record. But Mataro Parc was not able to use a home court advantage and was edged by the opponent from Zaragoza 82-79 on Saturday night. Alfinden made 26-of-32 free shots (81.3 percent) during the game. The winners were led by Jose Antonio Malo who had that evening a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds and Ethan Rey supported him with 18 points and 6 rebounds. Alfinden's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Even 20 points and 7 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) by Bayron Borrero did not help to save the game for Mataro Parc. Swingman Oriol Franch (195-1995) added 16 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for lost side. Four Mataro Parc players scored in double figures. Alfinden (2-2) moved-up to seventh place in Group C-1, which they share with Azulejos. Loser Mataro Parc keeps the tenth position with three games lost. They share it with Martorell and Almozara. Alfinden will meet at home Almozara (#10) in the next round.
