The game in Kaunas was also quite interesting. Sixth ranked Kretinga (3-2) played at the court of 8th ranked LSU-Atletas (2-4). Kretinga defeated LSU-Atletas 84-69 on Saturday. Kretinga dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to LSU-Atletas' 28 and made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Kretinga looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Guard Martynas Mazeika (193-1985, agency: Interperformances) notched 28 points and 6 assists to lead the effort and center Rytis Zabita (199-1994) supported him with 18 points and 6 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Even a double-double of 17 points and 12 rebounds by Tomas Balciunas (204-2000) did not help to save the game for LSU-Atletas.
