Another exciting game was between top-ranked Den Bosch and their biggest opponent ZZ Leiden where Den Bosch (4-0) beat ZZ Leiden (3-1) on the road 88-81. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of ZZ Leiden. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Worth to mention a great performance of Norwegian forward Chris-Ebou Ndow (201-1993, college: NW Missouri St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. American guard Austin Price (193-1995, college: Lehigh) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Den Bosch's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American center Tommy Rutherford (203-1997, college: UC Irvine, agency: One Motive Sports) replied with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Maarten Bouwknecht (185-1994) added 14 points and 5 assists in the effort for ZZ Leiden. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Den Bosch have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending Dutch champion maintains first position with 4-0 record, which they share with Limburg. ZZ Leiden at the other side keeps the second place with one game lost. They share the position with Charleroi and Belfius Mons. Den Bosch will play against Den Helder (#8) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
