Regular Season Round 7: Chartres - Lorient 82-67

Everything went according to plan when first ranked C'Chartres (6-1) won against at home 11th ranked Lorient (2-5) 82-67 on Friday. It was a great evening for point guard Yann Siegwarth (185-1993) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points. Forward Jeremy Ricard-Dorigo (200-1994) helped adding 13 points and 5 assists. Four C'Chartres players scored in double figures. At the losing side naturalized Guinean forward Abdoulaye Sy (201-1995) responded with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Hugo Suhard (184-1992) scored 9 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for C'Chartres. They maintain first place with 6-1 record, which they share with 4 other teams. Lorient lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the tenth position with five games lost. They share it with Les Sables and Lyon. C'Chartres will meet league's second-placed Union Rennes on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Lorient will play against Rueil (#6) and hope to secure a win.
