Regular Season Round 7: Stuttgart MVT - Lich Basketball 82-73

Very expected game when 9th ranked Licher Basket (3-4) lost on the road to third ranked Stuttgart (5-2) 82-73 on Saturday. It was an exceptional evening for Greek guard Vassilis Lampropoulos (196-1990) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 40 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds. Point guard Fekremariam Abraha (186-1999) accounted for 12 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. The former international Johannes Lischka (203-1987, agency: LUMANI 10.7) came up with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds and Felix-Frederik Schweizer added 22 points respectively for Licher Basket in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Stuttgart moved-up to second place, which they share with 3 other teams. Newly promoted Licher Basket dropped to the seventh position with four games lost. They share it with 6 other teams. Stuttgart will meet Kronberg (#14) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Licher Basket will play against TV Langen (#4) and hope to secure a win.
