The game in Svendborg supposed to be also quite interesting. 6th ranked Copenhagen (3-4) played at the court of eighth ranked Svendborg (3-3). Svendborg smashed Copenhagen 108-86 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Copenhagen. Svendborg forced 19 Copenhagen turnovers. American players dominated the game. It was an exceptional evening for guard Devin Whitfield (196, college: LMU) who led the winners and scored 18 points. Guard Jaylen Fornes (193, college: UNCW) accounted for 17 points for the winning side. Svendborg's coach John Lattimore felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Nathan Scott (203, college: EMU) came up with 18 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists and center Durell Vinson (201-1985, college: Wagner) added 17 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) respectively for Copenhagen in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Svendborg moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Vaerlose. Copenhagen at the other side dropped to the eighth position with four games lost. Svendborg will meet Holbaek (#10) on the road in the next round. Copenhagen will play against Bakken and hope to secure a win.
