Everything could happen in Vasteras at the game between two tied teams. Both fifth ranked Aros and one of their biggest challengers KFUM Black. had identical 2-1 record. This time Aros used a home court advantage and outscored the opponent from Vallingby 102-62 on Sunday night. Aros dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to KFUM Black.'s 26. They outrebounded KFUM Black. 52-29 including a 41-26 advantage in defensive rebounds. Guard Oskar Ekh (190-1999) notched 20 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and point guard Simon Klaasma (187-2002) supported him with 24 points. Four Aros players scored in double figures. Even 24 points and 5 rebounds by power forward Joacim Edlund (200-1993) did not help to save the game for KFUM Black.. Point guard Sokratis Pavlidis (174-2001) added 11 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Aros (3-1) moved-up to third place. Loser KFUM Black. dropped to the fifth position with two games lost. They share it with Marbo. Aros will meet at home AIK 2 (#8) in the next round where they are favorite. KFUM Black. will play against Jamtland 2 in Ostersund and hope to secure a win.
