Regular Season Round 3: E.Holon - H.Rishon LZ 62-67

The biggest surprise of round 3 was guest H.Rishon LZ's (#3) road victory over E.Holon (#4) 67-62 on Monday evening. H.Rishon LZ made 21-of-24 free shots (87.5 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American forward Kaila Charles (185-1998, college: Maryland) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds (went 11 for 11 at the free throw line !!!). Her fellow American import forward Jordan Hooper (188-1992, college: Nebraska) chipped in 14 points and 7 rebounds. Four H.Rishon LZ players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American-Bosnian forward Courtney Hurt (185-1990, college: VCU) who recorded a double-double by scoring 22 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists and American swingman Alex Harden (180-1993, college: Wichita St.) added 22 points and 11 rebounds respectively. H.Rishon LZ is looking forward to face M.Ashdod in Ashdod in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. E.Holon will play on the road against ASA Jerusalem and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
