Regular Season Round 8: Brno - Usti n/Labem 92-90

Important game to mention about took place in Brno. Fifth ranked Brno (5-2) saved a 2-point victory at home edging 7th ranked Usti n/Labem (3-5) 92-90 on Wednesday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Usti n/Labem. Brno players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. The winners were led by American swingman Kameron Chatman (206-1996, college: Detroit) who scored that evening 15 points and 9 rebounds and forward Simon Svoboda (194-2004) supported him with 22 points. Five Brno players scored in double figures. Even 38 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 4 assists by American guard Kris Martin (193-1997, college: Colorado St.) did not help to save the game for Usti n/Labem. His fellow American import power forward Delvon Johnson (206-1989, college: Arkansas) added 6 points and 15 rebounds for the guests. Brno moved-up to second place, which they share with 3 other teams. Usti n/Labem at the other side dropped to the eighth position with five games lost. They share it with Slavia. Brno will play against league's leader Decin on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Usti n/Labem will play against Olomoucko (#11) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
