Regular Season Round 8: Holbaek - Svendborg 75-92

Rather predictable result when seventh ranked Svendborg (4-3) defeated on the road 10th ranked Holbaek (1-6) 92-75 on Thursday. The best player for the winners was American guard Devin Whitfield (196, college: LMU) who scored 14 points and 5 assists. Bahamas forward Kentwan Smith (203-1991, college: Stetson) chipped in 11 points and 9 rebounds. Four Svendborg players scored in double figures. Forward Rasmus Moller (202-2002) produced 28 points and 5 rebounds and American forward Eysan Wiley (195-1999, college: UT Tyler) added 20 points and 11 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Svendborg have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place. Newly promoted Holbaek keeps the tenth position with six games lost. Svendborg will meet at home higher ranked Bakken (#4) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Holbaek will play against Bakken (#4) and hope to win that game.
