Very important is a road loss of second ranked Loko Plzen (6-2) against seventh ranked USK Praha B (3-5) on Friday night. Visiting Loko Plzen was defeated by USK Praha B in Praha 83-69. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Loko Plzen. Forward Dalibor Vlk (200-2002) nailed 26 points for the winning side and the former international swingman Patrick Samoura (198-2000, college: UT Tyler) accounted for 14 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Center Karel Ausprunk (202-1994) came up with 12 points and 9 rebounds and guard Jan Zeman (197-1995) added 11 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Loko Plzen in the defeat. Five Loko Plzen players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. USK Praha B moved-up to sixth place. Loko Plzen at the other side dropped to the third position with two games lost. They share it with Brno 2. USK Praha B will play against league's leader GBA Lions in Jindrichuv Hradec in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Loko Plzen will play at home against the league's second-placed Sokol Pisek and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
