There was a small surprise in Morón de la Frontera where eighth ranked Moron (3-3) defeated 6th ranked Ponferrada (3-3) 92-87 on Saturday. American center Riley Hayes (203-1998, college: Catholic) scored 26 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists (on 11-of-12 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and naturalized Bosnian Nedim Djedovic (205-1997, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 21 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was Senegalese forward Omar Lo (206-1997, college: CBU) with 27 points and 7 rebounds and swingman Guillermo Mulero (191-1997) scored 19 points and 5 assists.
