Everything went according to plan when third ranked Roanne (6-1) edged on the road 9th ranked Nancy (4-4) 63-62 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was Birahima Sylla (199-2003) who scored 15 points and 5 rebounds. Forward Aboubacar Magassa (194-2004) chipped in 11 points and 8 rebounds. Roanne's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Nolan Kingue (194-2003) produced 21 points and 9 rebounds and swingman Guillaume Grotzinger (195-2004) added 15 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists respectively for the hosts. Roanne moved-up to second place. Nancy lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth position with four games lost. They share it with Nanterre and Bourg.
