There was no surprise in Litomerice where 8th ranked Slavoj (1-8) was crushed by fifth ranked Tygri Praha (4-5) 81-60 on Saturday. Tygri Praha dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Slavoj's 30. Tygri Praha forced 26 Slavoj turnovers and outrebounded them 41-29 including 30 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Vojtech Zeithammer (150-2005) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Stepan Bubenik (155-2005) who added 11 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Forward Dominik Mascuch (191) responded with 14 points and 6 rebounds and guard Jiri Majerik (170-2004) scored 6 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tygri Praha maintains fifth position with 4-5 record, which they share with Nymburk. Slavoj lost seventh consecutive game. They dropped to the seventh place with eight games lost. They share the position with Plzen. Tygri Praha's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Praha Sokol Prazsky.
