Very predictable result when third ranked Torrent (5-1) edged on the road 10th ranked Valencia 2 (2-4) 81-80 on Saturday. Torrent forced 20 Valencia 2 turnovers and outrebounded them 44-33 including 31 on the defensive glass. Center Lucas Blasco (197-1998) scored 28 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward David Calero (193-1999) chipped in 13 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was guard Pablo Silla (188-2005) with 30 points and swingman Pablo Navarro (195-2005) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points, 11 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals.
