Regular Season Round 9: Neustadt TSV - Potsdam RH 93-75

Not a big story in a game when 8th ranked Potsdam RH (3-5) lost on the road to leader Neustadt TSV (8-0) 93-75 on Saturday. Neustadt TSV dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Potsdam RH's 28. Jannik Lodders (198-1992) nailed 20 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side and Dutch point guard Dyon Doekhi (188-1987) accounted for 13 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists. Four Neustadt TSV players scored in double figures. Neustadt TSV's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Power forward Joshua Lubken (209-2000) came up with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 10 rebounds (went 10 for 10 at the free throw line !!!) and swingman Dennis Teucher (200-1996) added 18 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) respectively for Potsdam RH in the defeat. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for Neustadt TSV. They maintain first place with 8-0 record. Newly promoted Potsdam RH keeps the eighth position with five games lost. Neustadt TSV will meet WSG Koenigs (#12) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Potsdam RH will play against SG Braunschweig (#5) and hope to secure a win.
