Regular Season Round 10: Starogard Gd. - Dziki Wwa 91-71

Very important is a road loss of second ranked Dziki (8-2) against fourth ranked Kociewskie Diably (8-2) on Thursday night. Visiting Dziki was crushed by Kociewskie Diably in Starogard Gdanski 91-71. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Dziki. Kociewskie Diably players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Filip Malgorzaciak (192-1993) who helped to win the game recording 30 points and 5 assists. Swingman Damian Janiak (195-1989) contributed with 20 points and 5 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. Kociewskie Diably's coach Kamil Sadowski allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Forward Alan Czujkowski (199-1990) replied with 14 points and 6 rebounds and power forward Mateusz Bartosz (205-1987) added 13 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Dziki. Four Kociewskie Diably and five Dziki players scored in double figures. Kociewskie Diably have an impressive six-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Tychy and Dziki Wwa. Kociewskie Diably will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Dziki will play at home against Decka and hopes to get back on the winning track.
