No shocking result in a game when eighth ranked Anorthosis (2-3) edged bottom-ranked Omonia (0-6) in Nicosia 67-65 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 6 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 67-65. Georgian Duda Sanadze (197-1992, college: San Diego) notched 27 points to lead the effort and American guard Antonio Wade (185-1997, college: OKBU, agency: BIG) supported him with 14 points and 4 assists. Anorthosis' coach Vasilis Chrysalas used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Even a double-double of 18 points and 11 rebounds by American power forward Jordan Dallas (208-1997, college: Seattle) did not help to save the game for Omonia. His fellow American import swingman Elias Harden (198-1999, college: EWC) added 19 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Anorthosis maintains eighth position with 2-3 record. Loser Omonia still closes the standings with six games lost.
