Another interesting game was again a derby between two local teams from Bucuresti: Laguna (#3) and Agronomia (#2). Laguna (4-1) won against visiting Agronomia (3-2) 87-83. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Agronomia. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Agronomia trailed by 11 points after 3 quarters before a 18-11 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 83-87 at the end of the game. Forward Wilhelm Brosser (200-1996) notched 22 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and forward Andrei Stoian (188-2002) supported him with 14 points and 8 rebounds. Even a double-double of 13 points and 12 rebounds by forward Dumitru Potcoava (197-1996) did not help to save the game for Agronomia. Forward Adrian Oprea (193-1995) added 13 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Laguna moved-up to second place. Loser Agronomia dropped to the third position with two games lost. They share it with Cluj CSU.
