Regular Season Round 7: H.Afula - M.Rehovot 78-57

Very predictable result when second ranked H.Afula (6-1) rolled over at home 10th ranked M.Rehovot (2-5) 78-57. H.Afula players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. It was a great evening for American Toarlyn Fitzpatrick (206-1989, college: S.Florida) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Tomer Asayag (190-1999) helped adding 14 points and 5 assists. At the losing side American forward Al'Lonzo Coleman (203-1989, college: Presbyterian) responded with 8 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists (made all of his eleven free throws !!!) and Shay Guy Guetta (-1995) scored 13 points. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. H.Afula maintains second place with 6-1 record behind leader E.Ashkelon, which they share with M.Rishon. Newly promoted M.Rehovot dropped to the ninth position with five games lost. They share it with 4 other teams. H.Afula will play against M.Raanana (#8) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. M.Rehovot will play against H.Hevel Modi'in and hopes to get back on the winning track.
