Important game to mention about took place in Nokia. Eighth ranked Nokia (6-6) saved a 2-point victory at home edging 5th ranked Vilpas (6-6) 103-101 in the game for the sixth place. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Vilpas. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Vilpas won fourth quarter 31-22. Guard Quentin Goodin (193-1997, college: Xavier) replied with 28 points and 4 assists and forward KeyShawn Feazell (206-1998, college: Creighton) added 13 points and 15 rebounds in the effort for Vilpas. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Nokia moved-up to sixth place, which they share with defeated Vilpas. Nokia will play against higher ranked Seagulls (#3) in Helsinki in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Vilpas will play at home against the league's leader Kauhajoki and hopes to get back on the winning track.
