Regular Season Round 7: I.Nahariya - H.Ramat Gan 86-81

Not a big story in a game when 11th ranked H.Ramat Gan (2-5) lost on the road to seventh ranked I.Nahariya (4-3) 86-81. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. H.Ramat Gan was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for the former international point guard Yogev Ohayon (189-1987) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Point guard Amit Reuven (182-1998) helped adding 15 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Five I.Nahariya players scored in double figures. At the losing side American Storm Warren (211-1988, college: LSU) responded with 26 points and the other American import guard Stedmon Lemon (198-1992, college: JCSU) scored 22 points and 5 rebounds. H.Ramat Gan's coach Amit Tamir rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the third consecutive win for I.Nahariya. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with M.Ramat Gan and M.Ma'ale Adum. H.Ramat Gan lost their fifth game in a row. They dropped to the ninth position with five games lost. They share it with 4 other teams. I.Nahariya will play against M.Ma'ale Adum. (#6) in Ma'ale Adumim in the next round. H.Ramat Gan will play against E.Shomron and hopes to get back on the winning track.
