Bottom-ranked H.Hevel Modi'in (0-9) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their ninth consecutive match to tenth ranked M.Rehovot (3-5) 66-62 on Tuesday evening. M.Rehovot forced 20 H.Hevel Modi'in turnovers. The best player for the winners was American swingman Brent Jackson (193-1994, college: Columbus St.) who scored 21 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. The other American import forward Al'Lonzo Coleman (203-1989, college: Presbyterian) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds. Jackson is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. M.Rehovot's coach Kobi Hasson used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American forward Demetrius Treadwell (201-1991, college: Akron) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points and 16 rebounds and guard Shoham Gat (185-2002, agency: Avi Zilberman) added 10 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists respectively for the hosts. M.Rehovot moved-up to ninth place, which they share with M.Haifa and E.Shomron. Loser H.Hevel Modi'in still closes the standings with nine games lost. M.Rehovot will meet at home higher ranked M.Raanana (#7) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. H.Hevel Modi'in will play against E.Netanya (#4) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
