Regular Season Round 6: Decic - Mornar 87-65

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when fifth ranked Decic (3-3) rolled over at home one of their biggest challengers Mornar (2-3) 87-65 on Tuesday. Decic dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Mornar's 38. Guard Marko Koljevic (191-1990) notched 27 points and 8 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) to lead the effort and American forward Elyjah Williams (201, college: Northwestern, agency: GoEmpire Group) supported him with 21 points and 7 rebounds. Even a double-double of 13 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists by forward Nikola Rakocevic (200-2002) did not help to save the game for Mornar. Center Lazar Radetic (204-2003) added 21 points and 5 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Decic have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place. Loser Mornar dropped to the fifth position with three games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Decic will meet bottom-ranked Ibar (#12) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Mornar will play against Primorje 1945 (#9) and hope to secure a win.
