There was an upset when higher ranked Le Mans (6-5) was defeated on the road by fifteenth ranked Gravelines-Dunkerque (4-7) 82-74 on Friday. Gravelines-Dunkerque made 22-of-23 free shots (95.7 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for American point guard Justin Robinson (170-1995, college: Monmouth) who led his team to a victory scoring 9 points and 8 assists. His fellow American import DJ Seeley (193-1989, college: CS Fullerton) helped adding 7 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. American-Jamaican guard Brynton Lemar (193-1995, college: UC Davis) responded with 18 points and 4 assists and guard Abdoulaye NDoye (198-1998) scored 4 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Gravelines-Dunkerque moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Le Mans lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the seventh position with five games lost. They share it with ASVEL. Gravelines-Dunkerque will meet at home higher ranked Limoges CSP Elite (#6) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Le Mans will play against SIG Strasbourg and hope to secure a win.
