Very expected game in Praha where 9th ranked SP Basket (2-10) was rolled over by fourth ranked Loko Plzen (8-4) 100-73 on Friday. Loko Plzen forced 19 SP Basket turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Forward Martin David (195-1997) stepped up and scored 33 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and center Karel Ausprunk (202-1994) chipped in 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Loko Plzen players scored in double figures. At the losing side swingman Lukas Hrebik (183-2002) responded with 17 points and forward Filip Staniszewski (175-2002) scored 8 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Loko Plzen moved-up to third place, which they share with Brno 2 and Zlin. Loser SP Basket keeps the ninth position with ten games lost. They share it with Chomutov. Loko Plzen will meet at home Polabi (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. SP Basket will play against the league's second-placed GBA Lions (#2) in Jindrichuv Hradec and hope to secure a win.
