Rather predictable result when second ranked Brno (8-3) defeated on the road 5th ranked Kolin (7-3) 92-81 on Saturday. Brno dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Kolin's 26. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was American swingman Kameron Chatman (206-1996, college: Detroit) who scored 19 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international point guard Viktor Pulpan (191-1996, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 13 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Brno's coach Lubomir Ruzicka used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Point guard Adam Ciz (192-1991) produced 20 points and 4 assists and Lithuanian forward Dziugas Slavinskas (203-1998) added 16 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Brno maintains second place with 8-3 record behind leader Nymburk. Loser Kolin dropped to the fourth position with three games lost. Brno will meet Slavia (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Kolin will play against Olomoucko (#11) and hope to secure a win.
