Regular Season Round 10: Castello 2 - Jovens 64-58

Not a big story in a game when 14th ranked Jovens (1-9) lost on the road to seventh ranked Castello 2 (5-5) 64-58 on Sunday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Point guard Andres Roig (188-1999) notched 19 points and 8 rebounds to lead the effort and forward Victor Rodriguez (201-2000) supported him with 9 points and 6 rebounds. Even 16 points and 9 rebounds by Jose Montilla (-1996) did not help to save the game for Jovens. Victor Prada (-1997) added 9 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Castello 2 have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 7 other teams. Jovens lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fourteenth position with nine games lost. They share it with Helios. Castello 2 will meet at home league's second-placed Sueca in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Jovens will play against the league's leader Lliria (#1) and hope to win that game.
