Everything went according to plan when tenth ranked JSF Nanterre (5-6) won against on the road 16th ranked Pau-Lacq-Orthez (3-8) 80-71 on Sunday. It was a great evening for American JJ OBrien (200-1992, college: SDSU, agency: Slash Sports) who led his team to a victory scoring 12 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. His fellow American import point guard Justin Bibbins (178-1996, college: Utah) helped adding 19 points. Zimbabwean power forward Vitalis Chikoko (208-1991, agency: LUMANI 10.7) responded with 24 points and 5 rebounds (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field) and American point guard Michael Stockton (185-1989, college: Westminster, UT) scored 9 points and 9 assists. JSF Nanterre moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Roanne and Blois. Loser Pau-Lacq-Orthez keeps the sixteenth position with eight games lost. JSF Nanterre will meet at home higher ranked JL Bourg (#5) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
