Important game to mention about took place in . Fifth ranked M.Ma'ale Adum. (6-3) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging 11th ranked E.Shomron (3-6) 85-84 on Tuesday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. M.Ma'ale Adum. players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Canadian center Eddie Ekiyor (206-1997, college: Carleton) nailed 34 points (!!!) (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) for the winning side and American forward Duane Johnson (201-1991, college: ESU) accounted for 11 points and 9 rebounds. M.Ma'ale Adum.'s coach used entire bench in such tough game. Gal Sterenberg (202-1999) came up with 17 points and 6 rebounds and American guard Raijon Kelly (193-1993, college: Angelo St.) added 12 points and 5 assists respectively for E.Shomron in the defeat. Five E.Shomron players scored in double figures. M.Ma'ale Adum. moved-up to fourth place, which they share with E.Netanya. Newly promoted E.Shomron dropped to the tenth position with six games lost. They share it with Ramat Hash. and M.Haifa. M.Ma'ale Adum. will play against league's second-placed Maccabi Rishon in Rishon Le-Zion in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. E.Shomron will play on the road against the league's leader E.Ashkelon (#1) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
