There was no surprise when 14th ranked Berck (3-11) was outplayed on the road by eighth ranked Rueil (7-7) 87-56 on Tuesday. Rueil had a 33-20 advantage in offensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. Rueil looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Berck's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Rueil made 8 blocks. The best player for the winners was swingman Steven Ricard (200-1990) who scored 26 points and 7 rebounds. Point guard Matteo Legat (191-1996) chipped in 17 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Guard Alexandre Mendy (189-1990) produced 18 points and 4 assists and power forward Luidgy Laporal (206-1995, college: SFU) added 7 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
