Regular Season Round 15: CSKA U23 - Runa-2 67-86

Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Moscow: Runa-2 (#2) and CSKA U23 (#3). CSKA U23 was crushed at home by 19 points 67-86 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Runa-2 made 22-of-29 charity shots (75.9 percent) during the game. They also forced 26 CSKA U23 turnovers. It was a great evening for guard Alexandr Zubkov (180-2002) who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points and 5 steals. Guard Vitaly Savitskiy (185-2003) helped adding 22 points. The best for the losing side was guard Valeriy Knyazev (188-2003) with 15 points and 4 steals and forward Anton Petukhov (203-2003) scored 15 points. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Runa-2 maintains second place with 14-4 record having just three points less than leader MBA-2. CSKA U23 at the other side keeps the third position with five games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
