Rather predictable result when sixteenth ranked Turow (4-10) rolled over bottom-ranked Start 2 (1-13) in Lublin 129-87 on Saturday. Turow shot 67.6 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 59.3 percentage. Turow looked well-organized offensively handing out 36 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Start 2's players. Swingman Szymon Pawlak (192-1998) notched 33 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds to lead the effort and forward Arkadiusz Adamczyk (200-1999) supported him with 29 points and 4 assists (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field). Even 17 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists by Sebastian Walda (196-2000) did not help to save the game for Start 2. Guard Michal Grzesiak (194-2004) added 16 points and 9 rebounds for the hosts. Five Turow and four Start 2 players scored in double figures. Start 2's coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Turow maintains sixteenth position with 4-10 record. Start 2 lost sixth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 13 games lost. Turow will meet at home higher ranked Gornik (#5) in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Start 2 will play against the league's second-placed GKS (#2) and will have a slim chance for a victory.
