Regular Season Round 14: Ockelbo - Helsingborg 77-75

The most exciting game of round 14 in the Superettan took place in Ockelbo. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of second-ranked Helsingborg (9-3) to eighth ranked Ockelbo (6-6) 77-75 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Helsingborg. Forward Chris Singhateh (196-1990, college: Friends) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 14 rebounds. Point guard Edvin Stark (183-1999) contributed with 24 points for the winners. Ockelbo's coach David Torrescusa used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Center Hannes Erhardt (210-1994, college: Lindsey Wilson) replied with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds and Spanish guard Alejandro Rubiera (190-1998, agency: Interperformances) added 18 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Helsingborg. Four Helsingborg players scored in double figures. Ockelbo moved-up to seventh place. Newly promoted Helsingborg keeps the second position with three games lost. Ockelbo are looking forward to face higher ranked Tureberg (#3) in Stockholm in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Helsingborg will play at home against Huddinge and is hoping to win this game.
