There was no surprise when 8th ranked Loewen (4-6) lost to sixth ranked Skyliners II (5-4) in Erfurt 57-71 on Saturday. Skyliners II forced 21 Loewen turnovers. Nolan Adekunle (200-2002) notched 24 points and 6 rebounds to lead the effort and point guard Philipp Hadenfeldt (189-1999) supported him with 15 points. Skyliners II's coach Sepehr Tarrah used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 14 points and 8 rebounds by Ivorian-French Guy Landry Edi (198-1988, college: Gonzaga) did not help to save the game for Loewen. Center Noah Kamdem (198-1998) added 14 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Skyliners II have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loewen lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with six games lost.
