Quite upsetting was Santurtzi's 24-point home defeat in a game versus Mondragon who smashed hosts It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Santurtzi. The best player for the winners was swingman Andoni Acha (195-1999) who scored 17 points and 7 rebounds. Power forward Martin Buesa (204-1988) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds. Five Mondragon players scored in double figures.
