Regular Season Round 12: Treviglio - Vanoli Cremona 64-61

The biggest surprise took place in Treviglio where host Treviglio (8-3) edged league's leader Vanoli Cremona (9-2) 64-61 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Vanoli Cremona. The best player for the winners was American guard Jason Clark (189-1990, college: Georgetown) who scored 22 points. The former international swingman Pierpaolo Marini (193-1993, agency: Players Group) chipped in 13 points and 8 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Jalen Cannon (198-1993, college: SFC) who recorded 10 points and 9 rebounds and Davide Denegri (184-1998, agency: SLN) added 14 points respectively. Four Vanoli Cremona players scored in double figures. Treviglio moved-up to third place. Vanoli Cremona at the other side dropped to the second position with two games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Cantu. Vanoli Cremona will play next round against Juvi Cremona trying to make it back to the top of the standings. It will be a derby game for which supporters look forward to, where their team will face at home their local rival from Cremona - Juvi Cremona. Treviglio will try to continue on its current victory against twelfth ranked Rieti Kienergia on the road.
